We believe when people engage in service, it leads to life change. Whether you serve on a ministry team in our church, in our community, or in the world, God calls us to serve one another. It takes many volunteers to make Sunday happen. Are you willing to help? Our needs are as diverse as the people who attend our services. Find out how you can get involved and serve others in our church community.
At Heritage we have opportunities on Sunday mornings for men, women and youth who love kids and want to build a relationship with them while teaching them to love God and His son. Curriculum and supplies are provided. There are also opportunities for Greeter, Child Check-in, Worship Leader, Drama Team and Sound Team. If you are interested in being a part of the Treehouse Kids Team or would like more information, please send us an email at email@example.com.
Guest Services volunteers create welcoming environments in the parking lot, hallways, and auditoriums, serving with with the mindset of Andrew who is known for bringing people to Jesus. The Lord is continuing to grow our family, and we need you to help us greet and guide these guests each weekend. If you would like to help people find their way around our sanctuary, we need you! The men of our parking ministry need you to join them in welcoming members and guests and directing traffic in our parking. If you wish to work at the guest services counter, helping connect people to Heritage or to be a monitor during Sunday service we need you. For more information about this front-line ministry at Heritage please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by Guest Services on Sunday.
At Heritage, we currently have two areas where we use volunteers from our media team; our Worship Center and our Fellowship Hall. We use a program called ProPresenter on our computers to display media in those two rooms. We are also looking for skilled and experienced sound engineers for these areas. If you have experience or are interested in learning and would like to serve in this area, please contact us at email@example.com.
We are always looking for gifted musicians (instrumentalists and singers) to add to our Worship Team on Sunday mornings. Our worship team works on a rotating basis so we aren’t usually looking for an every week commitment. If you have a passion for music and are gifted in that area, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Missional Communities are what we call our small group environments at Heritage. We believe the best way to reach our community is through networks of Missional Communities spread throughout the cities living intentionally to make disciples in their neighborhoods, schools, and work places. If you are interested in starting an MC or just want to know more about what these groups look like at HCC, please sign up for our next Missional Community Training event. MC Training happens quarterly on a Saturday and includes lunch. Check our Events page to find out when the next training is scheduled.
The Next Generation is our youth group at HCC made up of middle school and high school students. Not only are they the youth of Heritage Community Church, but they are the future. Some of them are already devoted Christ followers, while others are just finding their way into His arms. Our group verse is 1st Timothy 4:12.
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:15-8:15 in the Youth Pit. We hang out, play games, listening to Christian music while all along what we are really doing is building relationships with each other. We have praise & worship led by our youth praise & worship team as well as large and small group times.
We have a youth leader team that is devoted to guiding these teenagers down the right path; being there every step of the way not to mention holding them accountable when they step off that path. Beyond Wednesdays, we are also involved in community service projects as well as fun outings, youth rallies & summer camp to name a few.
If you have a passion for teenagers and the future of our world, we have serving opportunities for you. For more information contact us at email@example.com.
Intouch Outreach is a ministry focused on reaching out and touching individuals and families affected by illness, hospitalization, terminal diagnosis, disease, and bereavement, as well as their long-term effects. We visit area hospitals, health care and hospice facilities and the homebound within our community. This team is guided by the challenge and spirit set forth in James 5:11, 13-15 “...the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful...and prayer offered in faith will restore...” And the promise of Isaiah 53: 4-5 that reminds us that “Our grief or sickness He Himself bore, and our sorrows or pain He carried...” Should we, as fellow believers, do anything less? For more information contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In October of each year we have a family day for those who attend Heritage Community Church. It takes a lot of volunteers to provide a fun environment with lots of good food. If you are willing to serve in any way to make this event a day to remember and to get to know one another more and more, contact us at email@example.com.
The campus has a variety of opportunities for volunteers. Whether you like to work inside or outside, or if you can help Monday–Friday, we have something for you! For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
